If you want to be up-to-date on what's coming this season, keep reading because we'll tell you the 3 makeup tips you must know to be up on the latest in makeup and hairstyles.
1. Makeup Tips - Beauty: What's new?
Current trends in skin come from past seasons. The goal is to have afresh and cared-fora skin with a healthy look. How to achieve it? Follow the beauty ritual you already know:
- Clean your face morning and night
- Moisturize your eyes
- Moisturize your entire face morning and night with a cream specifically for your type of skin
- Use a mask designed for your type of skin at least once a week.
- When needed, also use an appropriate serum.
a Something new: Advance Night Repair concentrate (approx. a83) from Estee Lauder. This is a product that people will be talking about. It just came out on the market in September and is a perfect shock treatment product. It cures the skin and you can use it each time the season changes or when your skin is stressed and saturated.
2. Makeup Tips: Makeup: What is the trend this season?
Silky skin
The trend of last season continues: healthy skin with a light foundation or with a luminous effect. Remember to correct under eye circles and redness beforehand. Blend your foundation well so it looks natural.
a Something new: try the latest from Yves Saint Laurent which includes a brush.
Seductive look
The colors of the season are chocolates and the entire range of coffee colors, from capucchino to cafe au lait.
The smokey eye style. Here we give you the steps to follow to get the look:
Step By Step Smokey Eye Makeup (easily)
a Make up the interior eyelid with dark brown pencil, both upper and lower.
a Follow the same step on the upper and lower outer lid. It's best to draw a thin line and thicken it little by little.
a Blend the pencil with a brush with brown shadow on it (or a chocolate tone that you like)
a Blend all the way to the bone, leaving no lines at all.
a Blend the lower lid with a fine brush, gently. Then apply a shiny cream on the fixed eyelid.
a Make up your lashes with intensity. Use a curler first and then two layers of black mascara.
Cheeks: Blushing is in fashion!
The trend in cheeks is to use cream or liquid blush in pale rose tones to give that healthy look.
a A good trick: apply the foundation, then (before the powder), apply the cream blush. Then use a brush lightly impregnated with translucent powder, and finally apply a little powder blush in a similar color. You'll look great.
And remember: the best idea is to blend cream and liquid blushes with a sponge or with the fingertips.
Lips: Red is in season!
But if you do, choose light eye makeup.
If you make up your lips in red tones, remember to be very careful in the corners of the mouth. Follow these 3 makeup tips:
- Apply a neutral toned pencil around the lips and blend to erase the natural lip line (the trick is to blend well).
- Make up the lips with a red pencil, and inside the lips as well so that when the lipstick fades, you won't see a dark line.
- Make up the lips with a brush in the intense red color you choose. You can apply gloss on top to give the most modern look.
3. Makeup Tips: HairStyles: The latest!
These are the three most popular hairstyles on the runways. They are all easy and comfortable!
Straight And Parted In The Middle
This is a very current and easy look if you have straight hair and like to let it fall. If you don't have straight hair, to achieve it there is nothing like the new irons. Now there are ceramic irons that don't damage the hair so much. Remember to always use a product to protect your hair before using a hairdryer or iron.
Neither Curley Nor Straighten
This is a trend that continues because of its ease and comfort. Here are some tips to help you achieve it:
- Straighten the longest layer of hair, totally smooth.
- Straighten the intermediate layer first to be able to shape it easily.
- Put in some wide rollers, rolled upwards and not very tight, in the middle layer, or use a curling iron to give shape, gently.
- Straighten the shortest layer but give volume by using hairspray on the upper part of the head.
- If you have bangs, straighten them with an intermediate-sized round brush to maintain the volume. There you have it!
Bangs
Bangs are one of those touches that give personality and shape to the hair. You can wear them long at any age and very short (only for the young ones). Consult your stylist for recommendations that look best with your hair and face.

QUESTION:
may i know wat the best mascara n eye cream?
now i'm using YSL mascara n elastiderm eye cream from obagi, but my friend suggest me to using lancome mascara-
ANSWER:
I don't like Definicils because it makes your lashes stiff. that makes the tips easier to break. i used it for years. My favorite one now is Diorshow. It leaves your lashes full and lush. You can put a few coats on and not have any clumps. It also leaves them soft so they won't break.

QUESTION:
Is YSL Touche Eclat concealer worth the money?
My friend says it's amazing and magazines are saying how great it is. I have genetic bags and eye creams improve them but I still have to cover them. If it's worth the money I will buy it, but I'm a student and can't just waste money on things that don't work. So is it worth it? I can't test it because I will have to order off the internet as I don't know where sells it.-
ANSWER:
i tried a tester of it as it sounded amazing and i have dark circles round my eyes, but its very sheer, not much coverage, its more of a highlighter than a concealer, definatly not worth the money
i bought L'oreal Touch Magique instead x

QUESTION:
Make up and skincare products questions
?
1) Is chanel natural loose powder good? will it cause breakouts and does it stay long? if yes, how long? AND will it evens out my skintone effectively?
2) is benefit brush any good?
3) Does bobbi brown blush stay long? if yes, how long? and will it cause breakouts?
4) Is MAC blush good? will it cause breakouts and does it stay long? if yes, how long?
5) do you know any eye cream that can fade dark circles effectively? i would like to try YSL TEMPS MAJEUR eye cream? it is around 5. I've been using benefit eye cream for1 month or maybe more but it doesnt seem to be workingthanks for helping <3
-
ANSWER:
1) chanel natural loose powder is fantastic, i have super sensitive skin and i never break out from it. it lasts all day, and makes your complexion really smooth and even.
2) benefit makes nice brushes, and they apply makeup nicely, but they tend to suck alot of product up. Laura Mercier makes the best brushes and hardly any product is lost in them.
3) Bobbi Brown does not cause breakouts for me - its really high quality stuff. It will last for about 4 hours. make sure you check every 2-3 hours and reapply if necessary.
4) Mac blush is ok. the pigmentation is pretty intense though. you can get that eighties cheek color look if you apply to much. it causes breakout on some people with sensitive skin. It lasts about 2-3 hours. Go with Bobbi Brown. it's much more natural looking.
5) La Mer eye cream is the best. it will totally get rid of your under eye circles and puffiness.its pretty expensive, though. its about 150 for .5 oz. it lasts forever though.good luck!!

QUESTION:
make up under eyes question?
i am in my mid 30, and as everybody i have some wrinkles under eyes. when i am not wearing make up wrinkles are not noticeable - they re not deep. but when i put on evening make up it looks like horror - my undereye area looks as if i am in my mid 60 - wrinkles re deep and skin looks dry and there re wrinkles which i didn't even know exist - i checked with day light without make up - i can't see them. i tried every expensive brand. last purchase was YSL touch ecle. before was biotherm light fluid. before that lancome under eyes make up. i wasted lots of money already. so does anybody know which product should adult women use under eyes? and yes, i put on eye cream before upplying make up. thank u for your answers in advance
o, god, i didn't ask what creams i should use under eyes, i know which ones, i asked WHAT MAKE UP. don't give me examples with your old mothers please unless they know how to use make up under eyes to conceal their wrinkles-
ANSWER:
I have much the same thing but am only 24!! My 70 year old nan used to put wet earl grey teabags under and she still looks like a 70 year old woman! (joke by the way)I use a mousse foundation and because it's quite good coverage, I don't have to use a heavy stick concealer that clings to the lines. Also, it dries matt so no need to use powder that again makes me feel that it would be better to put a bright light on my head and an arrow pointing to the bags!!!
Another good trick is to use a coloured kohl liner in the evening, that will draw attention to the eyes rather than underneath them.
Let me know if you find a miracle cure!

QUESTION:
Is the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat meant to be paired with another concealer?
Considering it's more of a highlighting pen than a concealer itself, is it mean to be paired with anything else?I have 0 to spend and I want to spend it on Cle de Peau concealer. I have really, really, really bad circles under my eyes and nothing has worked so far so I want to spend more money than usual. I heard Cle de Peau was really good so I'm planning on getting it.
Now I'm thinking I should also get YSL for maximum effect, but that means I'll be spending all my money and I was also planning on getting an eye cream for . So I don't know what to do. Should I get both concealers or just the Cle de Peau and the eye cream?
I only need it for dark circles, not anywhere else on my face. And my eyes have hallows under them so I'm thinking I need something to brighten underneath.-
ANSWER:
Touche Eclat is typically a highlighter. It's a damn good highlighter. I only use it under the eyes. But if I was you i would get get the Cle de Peau and eye cream. Eclat in my opinion is only good for under eye circles.

My makeup bag contents aren't much different than yours even though I'm much older.

Mary Kay extra emollient cream...night and day...after applying an Spf30 sun blocker
Olay tinted moisturizer (it's okay to mix brands)
Mary Kay cashmere blush
MK brown mascara
MK auburn brow pencil
MK eyeshadows in assorted shades of taupe and brown

Dark Circles Under My Eyes.?
Had dark circles all my life. I have enough sleep. Used all the creams. Eat fruit and iron and exercise daily. Drink gallons of water. Tried the treatments like cucumber and potato and all that. Their genetic, they will never go away unless I cover them or surgery. I used YSL, didn't work. I used Bobbi Brown, didn't work. I used all these top rated concealers. None of them work. Do you know any thick creamy concealers that will definitely work?
They are purple.-

HiRealy Garnier eye roll on works wel.it reduced the dark circles if u use twice daily.u can apply concealer powder or cream when u go out.
My personal experience and my friend too tried that roll in becos she had severe dark circles but it reduced a lot for her now
Try ur skin color concealer or apply light rose powder which hides dark color of ur eyes wen u went outings.if u apply concealer or creams or gel.Always apply powder all over ur face which gives same color all over otherwise ur face and eyes look odd which will mismatch in color.Apply talcum or other powders makes d skin same color
If u r in home means in that time do these tips
Try one home remedy at a time to get rid of the dark circles.

Eight hours of sleep is a must for all of us, specially for people having dark circles under their eyes.
Do not leave cream on the skin around the eyes for long periods.
Remove the cream applied around the eye after 10 min. No cream should be left on the skin around the eyes for long periods.
Close your eyes and cover eyelids with slices of raw potato or cucumber for 15-20 minutes. Wash with warm water and apply a cream.
Make a 1:1 mixture of fresh potato and cucumber juices. Soak some cotton and put on your eyelids and keep for 20 minutes. Wash your eyes with cold water.
